Check in at the front security gate and let them know you are staying at La Perla 401 for specific dates. They will issue you a parking pass if you rent a car. We stop and pick up groceries at Mega Foods in San Jose (see map on web site) on the way from the airport. If you arrive by taxi, proceed DIRECTLY to the condo, the first condo building to left of hotel entrance. You can leave a credit card on file at the hotel front desk which allows charging at all the pools, restaurants and the spa for your stay. The telephone is for local calls only you will not be able to call long distance or call a cell phone. For all long distance you will need to use your cell phone or e-mail... There is WI FI available for purchase from the hotel and can be used in the hotel lobby and all the main pool & restaurant areas. The fee for this varies; please inquire at the hotel reception desk. Usually you can access Wi Fi from the condo for free, if you place your laptop on the small table in the second bedroom and connect to “LVN-
Please help us conserve water and electricity during your stay. Both are very expensive for us. Please turn OFF A/C when you are not in the condo and do not run A/C with outside doors open. WE REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR HELP WITH THIS. It is not uncommon for a $500 a month utility bill for the condo. We can continue to share our condo if we can conserve just a little. We are just asking you to be conscious of open doors and when leaving the condo to please turn the A/C OFF.
Although the hotel staff is extremely friendly, please know that although we share all amenities except the gym, the hotel is managed separately than our condos. The hotel is not responsible for assisting our condo guests with any issues. If you have any problems please call Luis or Carolina Avina @ 143-3510 during the day and in evenings 173-2245 for any condo mechanical difficulties. If you can not locate him please call or e-mail me directly. I have enclosed a key to the unit. If you have an emergency of immediate nature after hours of our home owner’s office. I have enclosed a key to the unit. Please respect our personal items. Feel free to use the DVD’s, I-pod player, ice chests, linens, etc. but please clean and replace them you leave. Please bring home & return the keys I have mailed to you in postage paid envelope provided.
Cleaning is included in your rental but it sure is nice if you place your dirty dishes in the dishwasher and start it when you leave. The outside garbage dumpster area is on ground level to the right past the Delphin building. All resort and condo water is treated and safe to drink. The condo will be cleaned once a week if you need additional cleaning services contact Luis Avina each additional day $45.00.
